Building the dock!

I built the dock this summer per the design specifications that are attached in my past post. There are a couple things to keep in mind when constructing a dock like this one:
- be neat
`- make sure to be accurate with your measuring and cutting in order to have wood that fits together and a nice final product
- be safe
-make sure you use safety goggles and know how to use power tools properly
- source the right tools.
-In addition to having the right materials make sure you have access to everything you need. I used a power drill and a compound miter saw among other things
-don't cut corners
-make sure to fully tighten and secure everything even if it takes longer because it will help prevent future problems

The easiest part of the building was cutting the wood because once I measured the cutting was pretty simple. The hardest thing was attaching the bricks because the metal wires connecting the bricks were difficult to maneuver and the bricks were troublesome to manipulate due to their weight.
